FASHION2NIGHT: This Friday, the glamorous fashion event will take place on board the EUROPA 2 in the Port of Hamburg. The designer duo ODEEH and the young label FASSBENDER transform the small luxury ship into a floating runway for one night and present their cruise collections created exclusively for the EUROPA 2. Prominent evening guests from the show and fashion business as well as business are guests: among others the moderators and actresses Nova Meierhenrich as well as Lisa Tomaschewsky and Wolke Hegenbarth, the actors Stephan Grossmann and Johann von Bülow, the models Lars Burmeister, Jannik Paar and Sarah Brandner or others the influencer Nina Suess. The musical star act of the evening is LEONY, after which the guests celebrate at the after-show party with the international house DJ Mousse T

Fashion, stars and glamor paired with a maritime touch: In front of Hamburg’s spectacular harbor backdrop, the EUROPA 2 is in the spotlight of fashion summer 2022. The small luxury ship – itself a style icon from bow to stern – is the setting for the fashion show by ODEEH and FASSBENDER which turns the pool deck into a catwalk for the designers’ exclusive cruise collections. “After two very challenging years, it makes me proud and very happy that today, on June 10th, we can once again welcome you to the FASHION2NIGHT event in our perceived home port of Hamburg together with the design labels ODEEH and FASSBENDER. Four years ago, when we started planning, none of us could have imagined how a virus would change the world. Our ships have been on the road again for almost two years now. And today we are celebrating the spirit of optimism of a great summer with our guests and celebrating the premiere of the exclusive cruise collections by these extraordinary designers,” sums up Julian Pfitzner, host of the evening and CEO of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

The collection Endless Vacation by the designer duo ODEEH, Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich, awakens wanderlust in the evening guests and lets them dream of warm summer days. The label, known for its luxurious fashion based on the atelier tradition that has become rare, has created fabrics especially for the Cruise Collection together with the artist Marco Wagner. The FASSBENDER creations inspire on the catwalk. Designed for women full of elegance, strength and sovereignty with a sense of Hanseatic understatement, they combine sophisticated tailoring with maximum functionality. This is how FASSBENDER has created timeless classics, the designs of which have been lovingly handcrafted on tailor’s dummies and perfected through meticulous cutting techniques.

After the event, on tomorrow’s Saturday, the EUROPA 2 will set off on a five-day Baltic Sea cruise on which everything revolves around fashion. The route leads from Hamburg via Gothenburg and the design metropolis Copenhagen back to the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The guests traveling with them have the exclusive opportunity to purchase their favorite pieces from the cruise collections in the pop-up boutique on board, to talk to the fashion designers and to be personally advised by them. In addition, the guests can delve deeper into the history of the German design landscape in conversation with the fashion expert and former VOGUE editor-in-chief Christiane Arp and explore and experience the secrets of modern high heels with Christof Baum, founder and CEO of the label Maison Baum. In the gallery on board, artist Marco Wagner is exhibiting a selection of drawings and graphics, some of which were created exclusively for ODEEH.

The next fashion trip on the EUROPA 2 will take place in 2023 as part of the FASHION2SEA format, without an event on land but with a runway on the high seas. Then the route goes along the coasts of four countries: Monaco, France, Italy and Spain. From July 11, 2023, Monte Carlo, St. Tropez, Marseille, Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Menorca will present themselves from their most beautiful side, before the sea voyage ends after nine days on July 20, 2023 in Barcelona. The trip can be booked from EUR 6,040 per person including the arrival and departure package.
