If you are drawn to the Thai capital Bangkok in the next few months, a look at the following offer could be very attractive. The 5-star hotel Pullman Bangkok Hotel G has under the name Peel the mango put together an attractive package.
Not only do you get the hotel at a reduced price of ฿2,500 (~€67) per night, you also get free access to the Executive Lounge for stays of 3 nights or more. There you will not only get a daily breakfast buffet, but also free snacks & drinks in the afternoon / evening. The deal is only valid for Stays until August 31, 2022.
The offer cannot be booked directly with Accor, but only via a special booking page:
Unfortunately the rate non-cancellable. After all, you can also rebook your stay at short notice (up to 1 day before arrival). You can read more about the promotion rate here. Please ignore the booking form there on the right-hand side – this does not lead to the offer rate.
Anyone who has proof of vaccination may (as of June 20th) enter Thailand again without a negative corona test. The obligation to test after entry has also been lifted. However, you still need proof of health insurance that also covers Covid. Currently you also have to register online for the Thailand Pass (probably not applicable from July).
Anyone who has not been vaccinated must show a negative corona test. You can read more about the entry requirements for Thailand at the Federal Foreign Office.
The information about the offer period is not clear on the website:
- According to the promotion page, the deal is valid for stays until August 31, 2022
- According to the booking system, the rate can only be booked for stays until July 31, 2022
- The rate
Peel the Mangobut can be booked for stays until June 2023
We have consulted with the hotel. There we were confirmed that the offer rate and lounge access (from 3 days stay) for stays until August 31, 2022 be granted. For bookings for September and later you may have to get along without lounge access & breakfast.
Thanks goes to Uwe, who reported this deal to us in the comments.

The Pulman Hotel G is located in the Bangkok district Bangrak. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you will find all kinds of restaurants and smaller shopping centers / food courts. The nearest SkyTrain (BTS) station is about 500 meters away. Since Bangkok is very spacious, you will hardly be able to avoid a few trips by public transport, taxi or tuk-tuk.
On Tripadvisor, the hotel is rated with an average of 4.5 / 5 stars from over 5,000 reviews. The situation is similar on Google Maps, where the hotel has a rating of 4.4 stars. The old furniture in the hotel is sometimes criticized. Here you stay overnight in the G Deluxe Rooms that look a bit sterile in the photos, but more modern than the other rooms.
You can choose between rooms with a king-size bed or two single beds. The rooms each measure 34 m² and have free WiFi, large panoramic windows and a bathroom with a bathtub. Below are a few impressions of the hotel:
Pullman and Accor usually charge around €89 per night. It gets a bit cheaper with third-party providers: According to Google Hotels, you usually pay between €72 and €77 for the cheapest room in July / August.
The cheapest rate is then usually non-cancellable, but for a few euros extra there are also rates with a cancellation option.
On the other hand you get with the Peel-The-Mango-Offer (from 3 nights stay):
- Daily access to the Executive Lounge
- Daily complimentary breakfast for 2 (in the lounge)
- A welcome plate with mango specialties
So you save a few euros and also enjoy valuable advantages. It’s just a pity that a cancellation is not possible with this offer.
